Colonel Schoenborn, Jr. of Jonesboro was awarded the Bronze Star Medal in Vietnam .During his 20 year Army career he earned the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and three awards of the Meritorious Service Medal. He is Chairman of the Arkansas Veterans Commission and active in Veterans support work in Northeast Arkansas.
